Kolkata: After losing the first test match to South Africa, it is believed that BCCI instructed the curator at the Eden Gardens, Prabir Mukherjee to prepare a turning track for the second test match between India and South Africa on February 14.

Prabir Mukherjee rejects BCCI’s request for laying a spinning track at Eden

However, Prabir denied this request. The spinning track might give an edge to Indian spinners, hence BCCI suggested a spinning track.

Curator Prabir Mukherjee has reportedly refused to buckle under pressure and prepare a turning wicket at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
