New Delhi : The Minister for agriculture Sharad Pawar said on Thursday that the government has sufficient stock of food grains for current and next year.

Addressing the inaugural function of Pusa Krishi Vigyan Mela, 2010, on Thursday Pawar said that a record production of wheat is expected in 2009-2010.

He also said prices of the sugar have decreased 1600 rupees per Quintal in the wholesale market within in the last three months.
